The first customer: NASA Ames Research Center

In June 2019 COSE made its first sale: a custom two-axis clinostat for NASA Ames Research Center, with a chamber modified for the samples they wanted to run.

Two more followed that year, for the University of Wisconsin–Madison and North Carolina State University. Each of these early units was built to order, as the photo shows, and what we learned from them became the SciSpinner Max.
